Replace Damaged Pallet Rack Uprights?

Our customer had a beam get lifted by a forklift and in turn it damaged the teardrop holes. Therefore we needed to switch out the damaged upright and damaged load beam in order for the customer to be able to use this section of pallet rack in their warehouse. The most cost effective fix for this damage was to purchase a new upright, take out the old upright and install the new upright and beam. We also had to replace a damaged wire deck. This was a 16 ft by 42 inch deep upright and a 10ft long beam and a 42 inch deep by 58 inch wide wire deck.
we also installed are seismic post protector on the new upright front column because this upright had a 5 inch by 8 inch foot plate for heavy duty.

Often times we use a pallet rack repair kit but in this instance it was cheaper and quicker to replace the damaged upright with a new upright. Our customer had the 2 sections of rack unloaded when our crew arrived and we quickly and safely replaced the damaged upright.
